How We Approach Moisture Control

Address standing water and active intrusion first
If water is accumulating, drainage and sump pump installation precede any other work. Encapsulating over active water intrusion traps the problem.
Install or upgrade the vapor barrier
Ground moisture evaporation is the most consistent moisture source. A proper vapor barrier addresses it at the source.
Encapsulate the crawl space
Full encapsulation — liner on floor and walls, sealed penetrations, closed vents — creates the controlled environment that makes ongoing management practical.
